Figure 03:28
Go ahead and make that heaven It's crystal cups and linen halters Views of a pew in a Gaudi fold So hand on hand to break your manners And quiet curses in your languish Crooks on the rail try to steal your name You guard your heart, you find your heaven You guard your heart, you find your heaven Late that night when you crashed to the ground As the smoke was trailng, it was spinning all around It wrapped around you and it choked you all the way down and it put you in your bed So the trees gave way, leaves were pouring into mounds Cause I'm a sailor, I was crazed, and you were what I found I wrapped around you and I choked you all the way down And i put you in your bed Go ahead and make that heaven It's crystal cups and linen halters You guard your heart, you find your heaven You guard your heart, you find your heaven

Scatterbuzz 02:46
Put the name back on the story Speak for the house I squatted in Follow the gale aimed at Chicago Lead the way, lead the way It's gonna tear up every shingle It's gonna crack tar, strip the nail. You'll circle up out in the vacuum Aiming like shrapnel in the air Our words are not enough The eye sees, The mind knows But it's a car crash And all our journo scatter-buzz You'll dig a hole out in your garden Turn on the hose and let it run And when your boots and wounds are rotten See the grave, see the grave Put the name back on the story Speak for the house I squatted in Follow the gale aimed at Chicago Lead the way, lead the way Our words are not enough The eye sees, The mind knows But it's a car crash And all our journo scatter-buzz And the heart feels There lie the Americans But it's a muted play

Ruffians 04:10
Hour in, days expired and you're lying like a billion-dollar bank, used to feel like a ruffian I'm holding out hope in the ad hoc of your youth But your idol's fallin down and his feet made of brittle clay and iron won't hold to the hoarfrost coming You been holding out hope in the ad hoc of your youth I can't see at all, but ooh you're next to know your name. You don't have the docs or the drugs or the money now to set your brain straight got your friends seeing something but, I'll tell you what, if I knew what it was, then I damn well would. 'cause I'll believe anything you want me to. Put your hands on me, I need you more than I want to. I can't see at all, but ooh you're next to know your name. Cuz I'll believe anything you want me to. Put your hands on me, I need you more than I want to.

AC 03:22
AC swallowed it up, cools all gone now heat and sweat, it's a wasteland expanding cant you tell by the breath I expel how there's a rhyme and a reason to dwelling once you've left, when I've fled be aware of the perpetual state of contrition on the boudoir a notebook is resting which contains the remains of admission lonely nights aren't that alluring company abandons worry AC swallowed it up, but it left some tucked away in my lungs all inflated cant you tell by the breath I've expelled how I've done all that i can to restrain it

Jacob 01:52
I got that raw from out of the garden, push that knowledge through my fingertips auction it as product, body consciousness in increments holy roller nausea, put fire to these sentences lost but now I'm found, the hand of G-d in all this penmanship manifest the manuscript, patterned for whom imagine it master craftsman, I'm after what matters, the masses gathered in jabberjawin', spawn the embodiment of a hypocrite no need for alarm, we're all bound to that swinging pendulum let us be remembered in honor if we are blessed to win lest our legacy be made fodder & thrown to settlement "Gone But Not Forgotten" we commonly pose to settle it if death is all you conjure, the scythe is a force you reckon with cypher with fallen angels, the jargon I quote is heaven sent hip displaced from socket & part of me knows I'll never win livin' out of pocket, you hardly absorb embarassment all I want is a blessing, the kind with no noted precedent

Push 04:04
Push, take me on I won't lie I've been feigning for your Touch, I'm coming by Aint No heavy feelin Gon hesitate me baby Still, crumbling light Buy me time, if you buy me anything Close up, magnified Keeps the water at my knees In an ocean full of grief now honey You know me, seamless Gotta find semblance I want a whole mirage Blacked out and wrapped in gauze Take off the curtain Take your abandon Just leave me bed and wall Fall on your levee ground Push, I'm on the wall It's coming down And you are all that I can See it's morning now Ain't no heavy feeling Gon hesitate me You know me, seamless Gotta find semblance I want a whole mirage Blacked out and wrapped in gauze Take off the curtain Take your abandon Just leave me bed and wall Fall on your levee ground And if you feel it, Act like you feel it I see you sulking on I see your burdened heart But it's not some challenge, It don't make you valient, So come on and take me on You know I been feigning for you

Candy 02:50
Agree to follow the night, and carry us in your belly Probably wont hurt, but it might tear you apart from the inside 'cause the outside is wild, severe and decidedly cruel Recognized for the lives it's determined to ruin I've seen loss in the eyes of an animal strewn Hey, I remember the highway, the markings, the dizzying sights, speeds, tried to read for distraction, but constantly falling at night We gave whatever we had for a stranger to rearrange your inner workings only so long of a plan to attempt at could have tempted that with an informal grip meant to slip to shift into the streets premature, overworked we overlooked you we overworked you we overlooked you we overworked you we overworked you Hey, I remember the highway, the markings, the dizzying sights, speeds, tried to read for distraction, but constantly falling at night Agree to follow the night and carry us in your belly probably wont hurt, but it might --yea it will yeah it might tear you apart from the inside 'cause the outside is wild, severe and decidedly cruel Recognized for the lives it's determined to ruin

about

Back in the fall, on our way east for a run of shows, our faithful van finally kicked the bucket in Saint Louis. We were there in STL for a few days and figured we would use the time to make something positive out of a less than ideal situation. Those are the songs that make up this EP, named after a street a couple blocks from where our van decided it had done all it could. This is a fun set of songs that we hope you'll enjoy!
